Traveling East or West on I-70 - exit at the Bluff City/Brownstown Exit (Exit #68).

From the West: Turn RIGHT off of exit ramp onto Route 40. Follow Route 40 for approximately ½ mile and turn left on Route 185. The research center is located directly on the south side of Route 185 approximately 4 miles from the junction of Routes
40 and 185. BARC is surrounded by a chain link fence, and you can't miss the big sign out front!

From the East: Turn LEFT off of exit ramp onto Route 40. Follow Route 40 for approximately ½ mile and turn left on Route 185. The research center is located directly on the south side of Route 185 approximately 4 miles from the junction of Routes 40 and 185. BARC is surrounded by a chain link fence, and you can't miss the big sign out front!

Traveling North on I-57 - exit at the Farina / Vandalia Exit (Exit #135).

Traveling North : Turn LEFT off of exit ramp onto Route 185. Travel on Route 185 for approximately 16 miles. The research center is located ¼ mile west of the Brownstown blacktop, on Route 185. BARC is surrounded by a chain link fence, and you can't miss the big sign out front!

Traveling South on I-57 (To Effingham)

Merge onto West I-70, one mile west of Effingham. Follow directions above 'From The West'
